The team
Two board-certified veterinary surgeons. A Certified Canine Rehab Therapist. A practice manager who'll answer your texts at 9pm. And a clinical team that's been doing this together for years.
Founder & lead surgeon
Dr. Patricia Simon is a rare surgeon with comprehensive knowledge, experience, and proficiency in a range of orthopedic and advanced soft tissue procedures, specializing in Tibial-Plateau-Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery.
Dr. Simon always puts the welfare of her patients first and she knows that this is best achieved by providing the highest quality medicine available. Her standard practice always includes low stress handling methods, the most advanced pain control, and comprehensive post-operative care. Dr. Simon only recommends procedures that are in the best interest of the patient. Her goal is to get your pet back to their healthy, playful self, so her medical advice will always be made with that in mind.
In addition to orthopedics, Dr. Simon brings a strong background in preventive medicine. She holds a Master of Public Health and is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. To support a more comprehensive approach to care, she is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, allowing her to focus not only on the surgical procedure, but on recovery, function, and long-term mobility. When you bring your pet to Dr. Simon, you can be confident that every aspect of their health, from diagnosis through recovery, is thoughtfully evaluated.
As scientific research and technology advance, Dr. Simon makes a point to stay up to date with the latest techniques and equipment. She regularly engages in continuing education courses with top surgeons, on a global-level, to fine-tune her skills. In fact, Dr. Simon often receives compliments on her careful incision lines, which can be important for post-operative wound healing — not to mention the enhanced cosmetic aesthetics.
